First built in 1 hectic day in front a live audience with Davy Smith and Duncan Menzies as part of the Scrapheap Piano Challenge at London’s Royal Festival Hall, this is a piano destined for the tip re-purposed into a giant electro-mechanical helter skelter. The marble is picked up, cranked to the top, rolled down the funnels then bounced down the open strings, discordantly reverberating for an age as there is no dampeners. See Video!
